Kindergarten

As a state chartered Kindergarten, we offer an all day program designed to meet the needs of working parents or those looking for a smaller classroom environment than typically found in public schools.  Our curriculum is based on Dublin City School’s requirements and state standards, but due to smaller child/teacher ratio and extended hours, each child receives individual attention for a longer period of time. In addition, we are open on school days off and children enrolled in our Kindergarten get the first option to enroll in our summer program. The standards and objectives we follow for our curriculum are can be found at http://www.corestandards.org/about-the-standards.

In addition to our full-day program, we also offer a half day program for those children attending a.m. or p.m. Kindergarten at a school in the surrounding district. We currently transport to Thomas Elementary, Indian Run Elementary and Washington Elementary in Hilliard. Children attending our program will receive academic programming during the second portion of their day here at Joyland. All children receive a lunch as well as a morning or afternoon snack, which is included in the price.
